Cash Flow: Where Did the Money Go?

A contractor can be profitable on paper and still run out of cash. In construction, payroll, materials, and subcontractors often have to be paid long before customer payments arrive. Add slow collections, retainage, rapid growth, or poorly structured deposits, and a successful-looking business can quickly find itself using tomorrow’s cash to pay yesterday’s bills.

In this Office Hours session, I’ll break down the contractor cash cycle and show how simple cash-management disciplines can identify trouble before it becomes a crisis.
